A leather jacket is essential for any wardrobe. So are black booties. And so is a denim shirt, or two. One of my favorite outfits is when I throw them all together! Black on black on black can be quite 'been there, done that', but you just can't go wrong when you add a little embellishments (like the chains on my boots). And leather doesn't always have to be black either; I've seen both red and white leather jackets that are to die for!
StyleCaster recommends pairing a leather jacket with a skirt or dress. Not only do I love that particular ensemble, but I'm also impatiently waiting for my next paycheck so I can invest in a gray turtleneck to put underneath! So, all of that being said: if you don't already have one of these coveted closet staples, it's time to invest.
PS: I encourage buying faux leather because animals are our friends. (:
Mine (purchased from Zara) is still in great condition after a little over a year and I wear it all the time!
Thanksgiving has passed, and as Black Friday comes to an end it's officially Christmas time! Have your ugly holiday socks and classic Christmas movies handy; this is the one time of the year that drinking hot chocolate everyday is acceptable so take advantage of it.
On a different note, I for one am not a huge fan of traditions but when it comes the Christmas I never get sick of my mom's orange cinnamon rolls every Christmas morning and reading the Nativity story out loud with my family. If you're in Washington where it's snowing or in Florida where its in the 70s, I hope you're in the holiday spirit listening to Michael Bublé's Christmas album and spreading jolly-ness all around!
Everyone's favorite Christmas tree in Dallas is up! As of this weekend you can gracefully (or gracelessly) glide (or trudge) underneath the red and silver ornaments of the Galleria Dallas Mall's annual holiday attraction. As you all know, you can't exactly go find a frozen pond to skate on here in Texas so I encourage everyone to take advantage of this spirited spectacle!
